5. God loves you

Hi! It’s great that you’re listening! Welcome!

Are you sad or happy today? Do you feel alone or afraid? Are you healthy or sick?

I don’t know how you’re doing, but I want to tell you something wonderful: God loves you! He loves you just as you are! When the living God created the heavens and the earth, He was already thinking about you. He rejoiced over you even before you were born.

(Insert a song about God’s love or a boy or girl can read it aloud with background music)

Song:

Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world!
Red and yellow, black and white,
They are precious in His sight!
Jesus loves the little children of the world!
Jesus died for all the children, all the children of the world!
Red and yellow, black and white,
They are precious in His sight!
Jesus died for all the children of the world!

God loves every person in the world – adults and children. That’s why He has a wonderful gift for each one. We read about it in the Bible:

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).

God’s love is great. He sent His Son to the earth so that He would die for our sins. Jesus was buried, but after three days, God raised Him from the dead. And He now invites you to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord.

God’s voice: "I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness" (Jeremiah 31:3).

Will you accept God’s invitation? You’ll be joyful and don’t need to be afraid any more. God is always with you. His love never ends. Do your friends know this? Tell them that God loves them, too.
